My Book of Shadows

A secret book created by you

Today’s Word:
Silence is a relative or total lack of audible sound. An environment with sound below 20 decibels is considered quiet or silent

In spirituality
A silent mind, freed from the onslaught of thoughts and thought patterns, is both a goal and an important step in spiritual development. Inner silence is understood to bring one in contact with the divine or the ultimate reality of this moment. All religious traditions imply the importance of being quiet and still in mind and spirit for transformative and integral spiritual growth to occur. In Christianity, there is the silence of contemplative prayer such as Centering prayer and Christian meditation; in Islam, there are the wisdom writings of the Sufis who insist on the importance of finding silence within. In Buddhism, the descriptions of silence and allowing the mind to become silent are implied as a feature of spiritual enlightenment. In Hinduism, including the teachings of Advaita Vedanta and the many paths of yoga, teachers insist on the importance of silence for inner growth. In Quakerism, silence is an actual part of worship services and a time to allow the divine to speak in the heart and mind.

My Thought:
Silence is something that we do not easily get in today’s world. If we work at it hard enough we can still bits of time to listen to the quiet of our souls. Connecting with this inner silence is important for it makes is stronger. It helps us to regenerate and face lives hardships. Try to set aside a bit of time each day to listen to the silence of your soul for it has many answers to give if you are willing to hear them.

Quote:
“Silence is the great teacher, and to learn its lessons you must pay attention to it. There is no substitute for the creative inspiration, knowledge, and stability that come from knowing how to contact your core of inner silence. The great Sufi poet Rumi wrote, "Only let the moving waters calm down, and the sun and moon will be reflected on the surface of your being.”--- Deepak Chopra, MD, the Mind-Body Wellness Guru

Ok I am going put this out to the Ningverse.

Ok I am going put this out to the Ningverse. And see what comes to me. Last time I put something out it was to as for a place to be. That failed. O was told not to do so in some places. Many telling of good thoughts. Sending of well wishes and luck, but in this day and age those are words that have little worth within the social structure. And can hardly be spend for the items we need. So in Virginia I am, with items in Ohio and the trailer in Michigan.
I have been a Renaissance Fare/Medieval Ar… Continue

I first wanted to be sister site with Mystic Moon, I never talk to the creator but her hand maids who told me about what they want for sister sites. I did not know that there would be a problem okay and instead of being nice about it Pamela cut me down. I read her notes to me. She use big words and mean things. I read what I wrote down here and I said because they were nothing nice at all in what she said that she did not like me and she got mad because I said that. This is the note she left on… Continue

Blessed Yule time( song)

As you decorative your house,
As you head out those parties,
As you sung those Yule time carols,
Remember me.

As you lite those xmas candles,
As you hang those xmas lights.
As you sand under xmas street post
Remember me.

Remember me, I'm alone one
I'm the poor one. I am the one that
stands looking in at you
Remember me , I'm alone one, I'm the poor one
I am the one that stands looking in at you

So when you started to be happy and merry
Take a moment to help me I'm the poor one, the alone one… Continue

It is not illegal to ask question

No matter what you heard it is not illegal to ask question and seek answers. That is why the creator gave us a brain, If he wanted us just to take in every thing like a sponge and stop think then he would not have created us like we were and are. I ask a question and got taken down for it. I called my boss and he laugh. As a paralegal you should know the asking questions is not wrong. So I am going to ask Beside Scott Cuttingham and Uncle Buckeland are there any other forms of wiccan out there.… Continue
