I have been away on business but I have been looking in. I hope hat you are free to enjoy and write blogs about your journeys as to help other along the way. I hope that you have enjoyed the freedom of place photos and such. But I have to point that there are profile photos of nude, or nukness that is against the ning rules and I have to make a commit on those pages as to what they are doing wrong, so if you get a commit from me please read it because it could be a simple welcome to a warning. I…

To everyone here and other sites:
I need to apologise for a mistake I made. The other day I was inviting my friends to my new site. I thought it would save time if I used to auto invite. Now I find out that it sends invites to EVERYONE on the ning network. I didn't know that I was not Spamming. I am sorry if I have offended anyone. I have already recieved some very vulgare and nasty e-mails (not from anyone here I don't think) and I have left notice with Ning officials about this inccident and y…

Even before early humankind learned to draw on the cave, wall symbols were an important part of the human experience. The Universal symbol of an open hand; an open hand or palms turned up was an obvious gesture displaying no weapon. Today and every day, we are bombarded with symbols. Symbols, tell us where to go and how to get there, warn us of danger and give us information at a glance.
Both Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud wrote about universal symbols, specifically for use in dream interpretatio…

Bloat is a very serious health risk for many dogs, yet many dog owners know very little about it. It is the second leading killer of dogs, after cancer. Especially in large and giant bread dogs such as German Shepherds, Great Danes, and Dobermans and many deep-chested dogs as well.
Avoid highly stressful situations. If you can't avoid them, try to minimize the stress as much as possible. Be extra watchful.
Can be brought on by dog shows, mating, whelping, boarding, new dog in household, chang…

I am not sure what passes for psychic in animals. I have a young service dog named Mali. I got her when she was 11 weeks old. I had a trainer come to my home to help with her training through advanced obedience and hand signs, since then I have done the rest of her training and Mali has passed all the rest of her tests with 100%. At this time, Mali is only 15 months old.
Mali had only had her harness for a couple of months. We were very proud of her, as she had passed the adult temperament test…

When first coming to the craft, many are taught or learn through books about rituals for creating sacred space. It is not hard to find a lot of information through the internet on how to consecrate and create circles and areas for various magical workings.
However; I have not seen very much information on how to create a magical home. I have found a paragraph here and there scattered throughout various books and on the Internet. On this our Wiccan path, our homes are brought from the mundane w…

Chants have long been used as a means of altering one's consciousness in order to commune with and connect to the Divine. Chants can be fast moving, energy raising verses or they can be soft, whispered words, heard only by you and the Divine.
The way this meditation works is to simply use a combined of drumming or rattling and chanting until your mind enters into a deeper consciousness, while at the same time retaining enough conscious awareness so you can use this form of meditation to bring…

If you ask a Hedgewitch to explain her path each one would give you a different explanation of exactly it means to them to be one. Like all paths this path is not a narrow path. For me my path is very much like the explanation I will be posting below. The explanation was written by Sally Morningstar. What makes me stand out from most Hedgewitches is I do not do a lot with herbs. Yes I grow them, Yes I have extensive gardens, and yes my connection is more with nature than any pantheon. I am not h…

A poem for Women...
I shave my legs,
I sit down to pee.
And I can justify any shopping spree.
Don't go to a barber, but a beauty salon.
I can get a massage without a hard-on.
I can balance the checkbook,
I can pump my own gas.
Can talk to my friends about the size of my ass.
My beauty's a masterpiece and yes, it takes long.
At least I can admit to others when I'm wrong.
I don't drive in circles, at any cost.
And I don't have a problem admitting I'm lost.
I never forget an important date.
You ju…

In the deep cool recesses,
The forest gives voice.
The whispers of the wind,
Moves through the prairie grass.
The tall trees bend,
To hear the Earth Mother,
Talk to her children.
Praise to the spirits,
Of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.
And to the inner circle,
Of the sweat lodge.
As we join our spirit to the earth.
We praise the Earth Mother,
With the pounding of drums,
Leaping towards the sky in dance.
Asking Father sky,
To bring forth the seeds,
From her womb.
As we perform,
The rites of fertili…

I walk the warm hiding of night.
Yet I fear the dark places of death.
Though my faith is strong.
My flesh remains weak,
Very human.
I look down into that open grave,
Everyday upon rising.
Using the wall to drag myself up.
I grow weaker,
The darkness grows nearer,
Even though I seek solace,
In the light.
I still have anger and fears,
May God forgive me,
Because I want to,
Shake my fist at the heaven,
And shout in anger,
WHY ME!

Today’s Word:
Silence is a relative or total lack of audible sound. An environment with sound below 20 decibels is considered quiet or silent
In spirituality
A silent mind, freed from the onslaught of thoughts and thought patterns, is both a goal and an important step in spiritual development. Inner silence is understood to bring one in contact with the divine or the ultimate reality of this moment. All religious traditions imply the importance of being quiet and still in mind and spirit for tr…

Well it is late at night and here I sit with my fingers tapping away one the computer typing all the useless thoughts going trough my head into my blog. I will type it and read it then maybe post it. I do not like to post much when I am depressed. More so when I am depressed and can’t put into words as to why. I guess it is just that I am on a down swing with the bipolar and we are adjusting my meds to try and flip me up out of the pit. I write a lot of poems about the pit we are old friends. If…

Possibility condition or fact of being possible. The Latin origins of the word hint at ability. Possibility is also referring to something that "could happen", that is not precluded by the facts, but usually not probable.
